Papa Puts Together a Crib - And Gets Kicked for His Troubles

I brought this home with me from work today. DJ was so excited he just had to put it together right now.
(Right now was not until after dinner, of course - the man still has his priorities...) ;)







Of course, we do still have plenty of other work to do... =}

The baby was nice, though, and rewarded DJ with his first felt kick as we were getting ready to go to sleep, so all of the hard work paid off. ;)

Second Ultrasound

We went in on the 5th of June to get the little bugger checked out and make sure everything is ok... also hopefully get a peek at the gender. Nothing doing. While all signs point to a healthy baby, they also point to a stubborn baby who was more than happy to kick its legs at the ultrasound transducer, but not to let us see between them at all. Still a magical experience and we got a great profile head shot... in my opinion, it's the cutest head I've ever seen. ;)
